TSS Shripad Hegde Kadave Institute of Medical Sciences, popularly known as 'TSS Hospital' has been established with an objective of enhancing the quality of healthcare in Sirsi and surrounding area. It is established with a vision of providing affordable quality healthcare for the lower and medium income group families, who are basically making their livelihood by farming and other cottage industries. Totagarara Seva Samiti (TSS) Charitable trust was formed over a decade ago by the eminent co-operative leaders, philanthropists and social workers with intent to better the healthcare quality in the region and built the hospital in memory of late Shri Shripad Hegde Kadave who is a well-known co-operative leader, philanthropist and leader So far, the hospital has treated over 6,50,000 patients and is continuing its efforts to reach out to needy people of the area. Due to its quality treatment and ethical practices, patients are coming from even neighbouring districts. Built over a vast campus of nearly 6 acres it has a capacity of 150 beds and houses 15 full time doctors and 19 visiting doctors.
